Traffic Tips & Recommendations

• Use a motorbike when possible — even in the rainy season, it doesn’t rain all day.
• For long day trips, start early and bring drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and a vest or jacket.
• Avoid beach-bound routes (south toward Ciamis) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays due to heavy traffic.
• For downtown Bandung, the best times to leave are between 10:00–15:00/16:00 or after 22:00. It’s only about a 30-minute ride home from Braga if you return after 23:00.
• Our selected taxis have proven skill in navigating Bandung’s challenging traffic.
• Communicate clearly with your driver — in Indonesia, “ya-ya” (yes-yes) often doesn’t mean they’ve fully understood you.
